WattVise
Smart charging for Zaptec, Easee, Charge Amps, CTEK and more · for drivers and housing associations

Your car charges when electricity is cheapest.

WattVise starts your charger when it's your car that's plugged in, follows the spot price, grid fees and the grid's carbon intensity, and has the car ready when you leave. Housing associations run all their chargers from one place.

The night to Sunday 25 October in SE3 · spot price per quarter hour PriceCharging

-0.01 to 0.67 kr/kWh before fees and VAT, from elprisetjustnu.se. Charging: the night's 14 cheapest quarters, as a smart plan picks them for a car that needs three and a half hours.

One night, minute by minute.

  1. Tomorrow's prices are in

Spot price, grid fee and CO₂ for every quarter hour, plus solar surplus. You get a note with tomorrow's cheapest hours.

  2. It's your car

It reads the battery level and target from the car itself, starts only for your own car and plans around your departure: below a battery level you set it charges right away, and if the car won't be ready in time, you're told now, not in the morning.

  3. Charging starts

In the cheapest, cleanest quarters. Priced the way you actually pay: spot with your markup and VAT, time-of-use grid tariffs and power fees, or a fixed price.

  4. Ready, and on the books

A notification when it's done, or if a charger goes offline in the night. Cost, CO₂ and charging curve per session, savings over time, a driving log if you want one, CSV and a monthly report.

For housing associations

The association's cars charge when electricity is cheap.

The board picks how, for example the cheapest hours before the morning, and WattVise pauses and resumes the chargers to follow it. Residents don't need to do anything; if the board allows it, one who needs to charge now starts again with their tag or the charger's app, and one who wants to save more turns on the smart plan, which reads their car's battery level.

So that not every car draws at once, the board can let only so many charge at a time, which keeps the power fee down; with a meter, the load is also balanced against the main fuse. The board sees every charger in one place and is alerted when one goes offline.
